What types of events can be in the gallery? Every type of event takes on a new dimension in this "out of the box" gallery setting. Corporate holiday parties, business meetings, non-profit organization galas, awards presentations, cocktail party mixers, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies and receptions, tradeshows, fundraisers, political events, tributes, roasts, theme parties, photo and film shoots, lunches and brunches, fashion shows and more have been held at Bentley Projects.

Is there a floor plan of the gallery? Yes- please download the event brochure for a floor plan of the gallery.

How many guests can the gallery comfortably accommodate? Up to 600 people can comfortably enjoy the gallery at a stand-up type of reception. Up to 300 people can be comfortably seated at tables. With the gallery's flexible floor plan and visual interest, even smaller groups or 50 or less can use one or more areas of the facility without it feeling empty.

Does the gallery host more than one event at a time? A full facility rental means that your event is totally private, for you and your guests only. With a half-facility rental, there may be another event in the gallery.

Does the gallery allow daytime events? Yes. Please download the event brochure to find information on daytime pricing. For daytime events, catering must be provided by Arcadia Farms.

Can artwork be moved? Bentley Projects is a commercial art gallery, with its own exhibition schedule of new artwork by major international and local artists. Artwork is carefully hung in the gallery with special lighting adjustments to best complement each piece. While artwork cannot be moved for private events, the gallery's event coordinator will work with you to best position your event furniture and other staging.

Are there only certain areas for food and beverages? Food and beverage is allowed throughout the facility, which allows for many options as to staging the various components of your event. Some restrictions apply on live "action" cooking stations in the gallery.

What does the facility rental fee include? The facility rental fee includes private use of your designated gallery areas (either a full or half-facility rental) for a four-hour event period, and it includes at least one Bentley Projects staff person on-site for your event. Additional event time can be purchased separately. The gallery's event coordinator will work with your selected caterer and other vendors to schedule delivery and set-up/clean-up times, make recommendations, and help facilitate a great event for you and your guests.

Is there a discount for non-profit organizations? Yes. Please contact the event coordinator for more information.

Is there a specific list of allowed caterers? Yes. You can contact any of our approved caterers directly for food and beverage menus, furniture rental, and other cost estimates. All food and beverage must be provided by one of these approved caterers. For daytime events, catering must be provided by Arcadia Farms. Please contact the caterers directly to inquire about their policies regarding specialty wedding cakes and/or alcohol. We are proud to work with the following full-service caterers:

Is there a specific list of other vendors? You are welcome to use vendors of your choice for florals, photography, music, and other decorations. The gallery's event coordinator can make recommendations based on your preferences.

What is the alcohol policy? Alcohol is allowed in the gallery, and all alcohol must be served by your selected caterer or a licensed bartending service. Cash bars are not allowed in the gallery. Please contact the gallery's event coordinator for questions regarding the alcohol policy.

Is photography allowed in the gallery? You're welcome to take photographs of your event. Please note: in accordance with copyright law, photographs of artwork and/or the gallery, which are intended for publication, must have prior approval by Bentley Projects.

Is smoking allowed? Smoking is allowed in our outdoor sculpture garden and in the outdoor parking area, at least 20 feet away from the gallery's main entrance.

Is live music allowed? Yes. We can place a DJ or band in just about any section of the gallery. A surcharge for excessive electrical use may apply for large bands.

Are there noise restrictions? Amplified music is allowed indoors only. Gallery staff reserves the right to decide whether the noise level is safe for guests and/or artwork in the gallery.

Does the gallery have its own audio/visual equipment? The gallery has a built-in speaker system and wireless microphone that is available for use. Music can be played at back-ground levels through the speakers via laptop or iPod. Projectors and projection screens of various sizes can be brought into the gallery.

Is there storage available on-site? No. The gallery is open to the public daily, and all areas of the facility are used for display and storage of artwork. The gallery's event coordinator will schedule delivery and removal times for the day of your event, eliminating the need for storage.

Are there restrictions on decorations? There are some restrictions on decoration for the protection of artwork and your guests. For example, candles must be in glass or other containers. Confetti, rice, or other similar items are not allowed. Gallery artwork cannot be moved, and nothing additional can be nailed or taped onto gallery walls. Please talk with the gallery's event coordinator about your specific decoration ideas.

Is security required? Yes. The gallery has a mandatory security requirement, with off-duty Phoenix police officers providing security. This is for the comfort of your guests, as well as the safety of the artwork on display. The gallery's event coordinator will schedule the officers.

Is a certificate of insurance required? Yes. Each private event at the gallery requires a certificate of insurance with a minimum $1,000,000 in public liability insurance. Please talk with the gallery's event coordinator about this insurance requirement.

Are there restrooms in the gallery? The gallery has five restrooms for your guests. Additional restroom facilities can be rented for very large events.

Is there parking? Yes. The gallery has its own private parking lot with 85 spaces, which you are welcome to use. For large events, additional parking lots adjacent to the gallery can be rented. You may also consider hiring a shuttle service for your guests to avoid the need for additional parking.

Does the gallery have valet parking? Valet parking is available at an additional cost, and is strongly recommended if additional parking lots are rented. The gallery's event coordinator will arrange for valet parking with our exclusive valet service.

Is there handicap access? Yes.

Is there a dressing room? The gallery has minimal private areas that can be used as a changing area, but no formal dressing room.

Are children allowed in the gallery? For the safety of artwork on display as well as your guests, all children under the age of 12 must be fully chaperoned at all times in the gallery. Please let the gallery's event coordinator know if you are expecting children at your event.

Is a wedding coordinator required? Having a wedding coordinator is not required, but strongly recommended. The gallery's event coordinator is not a replacement for having a wedding coordinator.

Are there any wedding packages? To maximize the flexibility of the gallery space, there are no formal wedding packages. You can choose to have your rehearsal dinner only, reception only, ceremony only, or all of the above in the gallery. Please contact our allowed caterers directly for information about their wedding policies.

How do I book an event date? A signed facility rental contract and 50% deposit is required to formally book an event date at the gallery.
